# BookingTerminal Alternative: Pricing & Booking Comparison

Compare BookingTerminal and TicketingHub pricing, online and internal booking fees, checkout and migration requirements for your tour or attraction.

Compare BookingTerminal and TicketingHub pricing, online and internal booking fees, checkout and migration requirements for your tour or attraction.

Comparing BookingTerminal with TicketingHub? Start with the types of bookings you take, who pays the fee and the features your team uses. Both platforms serve tour, activity and attraction operators.

## BookingTerminal’s published pricing

BookingTerminal’s pricing page lists a 5% online booking fee charged to the customer, no monthly or setup fee, and no fee for internal bookings. It says all features are included in one tier and offers custom volume pricing to qualifying businesses. Confirm how payment processing and OTA sales are charged in your proposal.

## TicketingHub’s published pricing

TicketingHub lists 3% per successful online, OTA or card-paid in-person booking, with cash sales free and no monthly or setup fee. Operators can absorb the booking fee or pass it to guests. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate. Confirm additional services and contract terms in your written proposal.

## A 5% versus 3% example

On the same £10,000 of qualifying online booking value, 5% is £500 and 3% is £300: a £200 difference in the headline booking fees. This excludes payment processing, marketplace commissions and custom terms. Because BookingTerminal describes its fee as customer-paid, that difference is not automatically £200 retained by the operator.

## Internal sales can change the comparison

BookingTerminal states that internal bookings are fee-free. TicketingHub lists cash sales as free and a 3% fee on card-paid in-person bookings. Include your actual internal and walk-in sales mix when comparing costs, rather than applying the website rate to all revenue.

## Website checkout and distribution

Compare the customer’s final checkout total, fee presentation, payment options and confirmation. BookingTerminal lists reporting, automated emails, waivers and integrations on its pricing page. For both platforms, verify the specific marketplace connections, availability rules and operational features you need.

## Compare a complete reservation

Test your own products, ticket categories, shared capacity and checkout in a demo. Check confirmations, staff booking access, partner connections and any specialist operational requirements using real examples.

## Customer changes and waivers

TicketingHub’s Magic Link offers eligible self-service changes according to product settings and deadlines. Digital waivers can use the separate Smartwaiver integration; confirm its subscription, signing journey and staff checks. Ask each supplier to demonstrate the equivalent process your team needs.

## Plan the migration before switching

Agree scope, cost and timing before committing. Confirm which products, future reservations, customer details and vouchers can be imported from available exports. Reconcile capacity and existing orders, test refunds and payment-provider arrangements, and train staff before the cutover.

## Choose using your own booking mix

Compare written quotes for website, partner, card-paid and cash sales separately. Include payment processing, marketplace commissions, optional services and how fees appear to guests. A headline percentage alone does not establish total savings.
