# FareHarbor Alternative: Fees & Booking Software Compared

Compare FareHarbor fees and booking workflows with TicketingHub. Review customer booking fees, processing costs, OTA connections and switching requirements.

Compare FareHarbor and TicketingHub on booking fees, distribution, checkout and migration. Match the cost to your actual sales mix.

## FareHarbor vs TicketingHub: compare the full booking cost

Looking for a FareHarbor alternative? Start with who pays each fee and the booking channels your business uses. FareHarbor and TicketingHub both serve tour and activity operators. The useful comparison is the amount your guest pays, your net payout and the workflows your team needs.

## FareHarbor booking fees and commission

FareHarbor’s provider terms distinguish guest booking fees from provider processing fees and optional services. They also describe an alternative commission model charged to the operator. The terms allow fees for API bookings, FH Dock staff mode, distribution and hosted websites. Your applicable agreement determines the charges; a single percentage is not a complete cost comparison.

Ask FareHarbor for the fee schedule covering direct online, in-person and reseller bookings. Check who bears each charge, the payment-processing rate and refund treatment. This page does not assume that every operator pays 6–8%, or that the advertised booking fee includes every service.

## How TicketingHub pricing compares

TicketingHub charges 3% per successful online, OTA or card-paid in-person booking, with no monthly or setup fee. Cash sales are free. Operators can absorb the fee or pass it on; payment processing and marketplace commissions are separate.

For £10,000 in bookings subject to TicketingHub’s 3% service fee, that fee is £300 before separate charges. Compare this with your own FareHarbor agreement, using the same sales mix and fee payer. This example does not establish a guaranteed saving.

## Compare checkout and distribution

FareHarbor’s terms cover online and staff-entered reservations and additional distribution services. When evaluating either platform, test your own ticket types, capacity rules, reseller bookings and cancellation process. Check whether the guest’s total price stays clear throughout checkout.

TicketingHub combines website booking, reseller availability management and point-of-sale sales. Its Magic Link supports eligible customer booking changes according to your settings and deadlines. Demonstrate the exact workflow you need rather than assuming any feature is absent from FareHarbor.

## Is FareHarbor a legitimate booking platform?

FareHarbor provides booking and payment services for activity operators. A reservation creates an activity contract with the operator under its provider terms. If you are checking a particular reservation, confirm the operator, date and cancellation policy on the confirmation; the platform name alone does not verify an individual offer.

## Plan the switch around existing bookings

Before moving, agree which products, future reservations, customer records and vouchers can transfer, along with migration costs and timing. Test payments, refunds, availability and reseller connections before changing the live checkout. Existing agreements and payment-provider requirements still apply.

## Compare your operation in a demo

Bring a typical departure, your busiest day and a breakdown of website, reseller and walk-in sales. Ask the TicketingHub team to demonstrate the full booking and check-in journey against your requirements.
