# Gantner Ticketing Alternative: Vintia vs TicketingHub

Compare Vintia, formerly Gantner Ticketing, with TicketingHub. Review online booking, access control, hardware compatibility and pricing.

Compare Gantner’s former ticketing division, now Vintia, with TicketingHub for online sales, distribution and access requirements.

## Gantner Ticketing is now Vintia

If you are looking for a Gantner ticketing alternative, first identify the product you use. Gantner announced that its ticketing division and Michel Consulting now operate under Vintia. This matters because comparing booking platforms with Gantner hardware alone overlooks the ticketing software.

## Online ticketing is part of the comparison

Vintia’s Enviso is a cloud-based ticketing and booking solution. Its documentation includes an embeddable ticketing widget. The old assumption that Gantner’s former ticketing business only controls gates is therefore inaccurate: compare the specific Vintia product and modules proposed for your venue.

TicketingHub is an option for operators who want website bookings, reseller availability management and point-of-sale ticket sales. Choosing between systems depends on the ticket types, visitor journeys and integrations your venue actually needs.

## Check access control and existing hardware

Vintia’s Edge documentation describes a connection between point-of-sale and access hardware and Recreatex or Enviso. If you already use scanners, wristbands, lockers or turnstiles, record the exact models and software dependencies before considering a change.

Do not assume TicketingHub can replace or connect to every part of an existing installation. Ask for a compatibility assessment covering ticket validation, re-entry, membership entitlements and failure handling. Keeping hardware may be possible, but requires confirmation for your configuration.

## Compare complete costs

Request a Vintia quote that separates software, chosen modules, hardware, installation, integrations and ongoing support. Avoid assuming every ticketing deployment requires the same hardware bundle.

TicketingHub charges 3% per successful online, OTA or card-paid in-person booking, with no monthly or setup fee. Cash sales are free. Operators can absorb the fee or pass it on; payment processing and marketplace commissions are separate.

Calculate both options using the same sales channels and equipment requirements. A transaction percentage alone is not comparable with a quote that also includes access infrastructure.

## Evaluate booking changes and distribution

For TicketingHub, test reseller availability and eligible Magic Link changes under your own policies and deadlines. Ask Vintia to demonstrate the equivalent requirements. Public documentation that omits a feature does not establish that it is unavailable.

## Plan migration before changing the checkout

Agree which products, future reservations, vouchers and customer records can transfer, plus the migration scope, cost and timeline. Test payments, refunds and availability before launch. Keep one clear source of availability during any parallel trial so the same capacity is not sold twice.

## See your own workflow in a demo

Bring a sample product, a busy day and the systems you already use. Ask TicketingHub to demonstrate booking, payment, customer changes and check-in against your requirements.

## Sources and review date
