Evaluating a Palisis alternative for sightseeing tours or attractions? Compare website sales, on-street ticketing, partner distribution and the devices your team needs.

## Palisis offers several sales and device options

Palisis’s official product tour describes an embedded Webshop or standalone booking page, TourCMS website and API options, resource tools and channel management. Its device range includes handhelds, fixed terminals, kiosks and validators. Its handheld page also lists a mobile app for basic ticketing needs.

## Hardware requirements depend on the setup

Do not assume that every Palisis installation requires the same dedicated hardware, or that existing devices will automatically support every TicketingHub workflow. Demonstrate payments, printing and validation on the proposed devices. Confirm connectivity and the precise scope of any offline operation.

## Distribution and agent sales

Palisis documents OTA and reseller distribution and agent-facing BoxOffice tools. For both suppliers, check the partners you use, ticket mapping, availability updates and handling of changed bookings. Confirm the exact product configuration and commercial terms.

## TicketingHub’s published pricing

TicketingHub lists 3% per successful online, OTA or card-paid in-person booking, with cash sales free and no monthly or setup fee. Operators can absorb the booking fee or pass it to guests. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate. Confirm additional services and contractual terms in your proposal.

## Use a current Palisis proposal

The product pages reviewed do not establish a complete rate for your configuration. Request current software, device, processing, distribution and implementation costs. TicketingHub’s 3% on €10,000 of qualifying booking value is €300 before separate charges; compare quotes in the same currency and avoid assumed exchange rates or outdated plan prices.

## Compare the full booking journey

Test your own products, ticket categories, shared capacity, mobile checkout, confirmations and staff access. Confirm marketplace connections, product mapping, cancellations and reporting directly. Ask both suppliers to demonstrate specialist operational requirements.

## Guest changes and digital waivers

TicketingHub’s Magic Link offers eligible changes according to product settings and deadlines. Digital waivers can use the separate Smartwaiver integration; confirm its subscription, signing journey and staff checks. Test your actual cancellation and participant policies.

## Agree the migration scope

Confirm which products, future reservations, customer records and vouchers can be imported from available exports. Agree costs, timing, payment-provider arrangements and responsibility for existing refunds. Reconcile capacity, test ticket delivery and train staff before the cutover.

## Compare complete written proposals

Use your sales mix to compare software charges, processing, marketplace commissions, hardware, optional services and implementation. Confirm support, training and contract terms. A headline percentage does not establish total savings.
