# Purplepass Alternative: TicketingHub Compared

Compare Purplepass and TicketingHub pricing, event ticketing, booking workflows and migration. Published fees checked October 2026.

Compare published fees, ticketing workflows and migration requirements using your actual sales mix.

## Compare Purplepass and TicketingHub for your ticket sales

Start with the tickets you sell, the channels you use and the experience guests need. Compare event seating, box-office operations and recurring departure bookings using your actual requirements.

## Purplepass fees checked 18 October 2026

Purplepass’s public pricing lists an online service fee of 2.5% plus $0.99 per ticket, or 2% plus $0.99 for nonprofits. It lists online card processing at 3% separately. Its box-office service fee is zero, with card processing listed at 2.5% plus $0.25 per transaction. Confirm applicable discounts, equipment and merchant-account terms in your quote.

## A comparison in one currency

For an illustrative 400 online tickets at $25 each, the base ticket value is $10,000. At the published standard service rate, 2.5% is $250 and 400 times $0.99 is $396: $646 in service fees before card processing. TicketingHub’s 3% on the same fee-bearing value is $300 before separate charges. The $346 difference is a service-fee example, not guaranteed net savings.

## Compare the complete sales mix

Box-office sales, nonprofit discounts, ticket prices, negotiated rates and processing terms change the outcome. Include the full annual sales mix and establish who pays each charge. Avoid mixing dollar surcharges with pound ticket values without an explicit exchange rate.

## Event tools and booking workflows

Purplepass publicly lists assigned seating, season subscriptions and box-office tools. If seating maps, performance passes or event hardware are essential, demonstrate those requirements in both proposed setups rather than assuming the platforms are interchangeable.

## Distribution and guest changes

TicketingHub supports website bookings, in-person ticket sales and supported reseller connections. Confirm each channel’s product eligibility, commissions and availability mapping. Magic Link can allow eligible changes within configured options and deadlines. A missing feature in a public summary is not proof that a competitor cannot provide it.

## Migration planning

List products, future reservations, seating requirements, customer fields, passes, vouchers and equipment. Agree export access, supported imports, responsibilities and timing. Payment records and specialist seating data may need separate handling. Do not assume every migration takes an afternoon.

## Questions about Purplepass alternatives

Is TicketingHub always cheaper? No: compare your actual sales mix and total charges. Does it replace every event seating workflow? Demonstrate your exact requirements. Can we trial a product first? Agree a test and capacity controls that avoid duplicate sales.

## Make the comparison practical

Bring your ticket count, average prices, nonprofit status, channels and hardware requirements. Test checkout, a staff sale and an amendment before deciding.

## TicketingHub booking costs

TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
