# ROLLER Alternative: TicketingHub Compared

Compare ROLLER alternatives: TicketingHub pricing, online bookings, POS, OTA connections and migration. Clear fees and practical checks for your venue.

Compare ROLLER and TicketingHub on pricing, booking workflows and migration. TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per booking, with no monthly fee.

## A ROLLER alternative for tours and attractions

TicketingHub is an option for operators who want website bookings, in-person ticket sales and supported reseller connections with a published booking fee. ROLLER offers a broader venue-management suite. The better fit depends on the experiences you sell, your sales mix and the specialist systems your venue needs.

## Pricing: compare the same sales mix

TicketingHub’s published standard fee is 3% per successful booking, including online, in-person and OTA bookings. There are no monthly or setup fees. Payment-provider charges and marketplace commissions are separate.

For example, £10,000 of bookings produces a £300 TicketingHub platform fee at the standard rate, before payment processing and marketplace commissions. That £10,000 includes bookings across all channels, not just your website. Enterprise terms can differ.

ROLLER’s pricing page lists Lite, Pro, Premium and Enterprise plans and directs buyers to sales for a quote. A useful comparison includes the quoted subscription, usage charges, payment processing, hardware, add-ons and contract terms for your actual operation.

## What each platform covers

### Online bookings and in-person sales

ROLLER lists online checkout, POS and self-service kiosk options. TicketingHub provides an embeddable website booking widget and point-of-sale tools. A practical comparison follows the same ticket purchase, desk sale and refund on each platform, using your own hardware requirements.

### OTA connections and availability

Both platforms advertise channel-management capabilities. ROLLER’s current channel-management page names Viator and GetYourGuide, so it would be inaccurate to describe those connections as absent. TicketingHub also offers supported connections to those marketplaces. Product support, capacity rules, fees and connection setup need checking for each account.

### Guest changes and communication

TicketingHub supports booking confirmations, reminders and guest-managed changes through Magic Link. Available actions depend on the booking setup. A useful demo includes a guest moving to another departure and the effect on availability and payment.

### Memberships and venue operations

ROLLER lists memberships, party packages and food-and-beverage tools within its venue offering. Those workflows need individual comparison. TicketingHub’s admission and tour-booking capabilities do not by themselves establish support for recurring membership billing or a complete restaurant operation.

## Customer evidence

City Tours Belfast moved from Checkfront to TicketingHub for a cleaner booking journey and easier day-to-day sales. Its story illustrates the booking and point-of-sale workflow; it is not a claim that the operator switched from ROLLER.

## Planning a switch from ROLLER

A migration assessment starts with your products, future bookings, gift vouchers, customer information, waivers and connected channels. Export formats, import support and the cutover date need agreeing before the switch. A generic promise of an afternoon’s migration would overlook those differences.

## Questions about ROLLER alternatives

### Is TicketingHub cheaper than ROLLER?

That depends on ROLLER’s quote and your sales mix. TicketingHub’s standard platform fee is 3% across online, in-person and OTA bookings. Comparing total cost at the same volume, including processing, hardware and add-ons, gives a more useful answer than comparing headline fees.

### Does ROLLER connect to Viator and GetYourGuide?

Yes. ROLLER advertises those partners on its current channel-management page. The specific connection, ticket types and commercial terms need confirming for your venue.

### Can we keep our existing website?

TicketingHub’s booking widget can be embedded in your current website. A demo can show how your products, ticket options and available times appear to guests.

### How long does migration take?

The timeline depends on the records and workflows being moved. An agreed plan covers data transfer, future reservations, payment setup, connected channels, staff training and checks before opening sales.
