# TripWorks Alternative: Pricing & Booking Comparison

Compare TripWorks and TicketingHub booking fees, payment processing, reservation workflows and migration requirements for your tour or attraction.

Compare TripWorks and TicketingHub booking fees, payment processing, reservation workflows and migration requirements for your tour or attraction.

Considering TicketingHub as an alternative to TripWorks? Compare the published fees alongside the booking journeys, integrations and support arrangements your operation needs.

## TripWorks’ published pricing

TripWorks lists platform pricing of $0 per month with a 6% booking fee plus a credit-card transaction charge. Its pricing page lists access to all features, dedicated support, onboarding and training, and webhooks and integrations. Enterprise pricing is custom, with additional account-management, security and API features listed.

## TicketingHub’s published pricing

TicketingHub lists 3% per successful online, OTA or card-paid in-person booking, with cash sales free and no monthly or setup fee. Operators can absorb the booking fee or pass it to guests. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate. Confirm additional services and contract terms in your written proposal.

## A 6% versus 3% example

On the same £10,000 of qualifying booking value, a 6% software booking fee is £600 and a 3% fee is £300. The £300 difference excludes processing, marketplace commissions, custom quotes and any other agreed services. Confirm the fee base, sales channels covered and who pays before treating it as an operator saving.

## Payment processing applies separately

TripWorks explicitly lists a credit-card transaction charge alongside its booking fee. TicketingHub also has separate payment processing through your payment provider. Compare both sets of processing terms and refund treatment; TicketingHub’s 3% is not an all-inclusive card-processing rate.

## Demonstrate the features you rely on

Ask both suppliers to show website checkout, group reservations, capacity rules, partner distribution and front-desk sales. Test guest changes, waiver completion, payment options and reporting directly. The absence of a feature from a short pricing page does not establish that the product lacks it.

## Support, onboarding and contractual terms

TripWorks lists onboarding and training in platform pricing and personalised support on Enterprise. Request each supplier’s written support arrangements, onboarding scope, data-export process and contract terms. Confirm the devices and integrations your team will use before choosing a setup.

## Compare a complete reservation

Test your own products, ticket categories, shared capacity and checkout in a demo. Check confirmations, staff booking access, partner connections and any specialist operational requirements using real examples.

## Customer changes and waivers

TicketingHub’s Magic Link offers eligible self-service changes according to product settings and deadlines. Digital waivers can use the separate Smartwaiver integration; confirm its subscription, signing journey and staff checks. Ask each supplier to demonstrate the equivalent process your team needs.

## Plan the migration before switching

Agree scope, cost and timing before committing. Confirm which products, future reservations, customer details and vouchers can be imported from available exports. Reconcile capacity and existing orders, test refunds and payment-provider arrangements, and train staff before the cutover.

## Choose using your own booking mix

Compare written quotes for website, partner, card-paid and cash sales separately. Include payment processing, marketplace commissions, optional services and how fees appear to guests. A headline percentage alone does not establish total savings.
