# TRYTN Alternative: TicketingHub Compared

Compare TRYTN and TicketingHub fees for website, back-office, cash and OTA bookings, plus booking workflows and migration. Checked October 2026.

Compare TRYTN and TicketingHub by booking channel, total cost and the workflows your operation needs.

## Compare TRYTN and TicketingHub using your sales mix

Choosing a TRYTN alternative starts with how you sell: directly on your website, through your team or through marketplaces. Compare fees and daily workflows using the same booking value, channels and payment methods.

## TRYTN pricing checked 17 October 2026

TRYTN’s official pricing guide lists a 5% fee for website bookings and 1% for back-end bookings paid by credit card. Cash or external payments carry a 0% booking fee, and OTA bookings carry no extra TRYTN fee beyond marketplace commissions. It states there are no monthly fees.

TRYTN says fees can be passed to the customer, absorbed or split. Payment processing is separate; its guide also explains that booking service fees are not refunded on cancellation. Confirm current terms, onboarding and optional website work in your quote.

## TicketingHub pricing

TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate. Compare the full cost for your sales mix.

## A fair booking-fee comparison

On £10,000 of website booking value, a 5% fee is £500 and a 3% fee is £300: a £200 difference before processing, taxes or other charges. This example applies to website bookings, and does not establish the cheapest option for your whole business.

For £10,000 of back-end card bookings, the headline fees would instead be £100 at 1% and £300 at 3%. TRYTN’s 0% booking fee for cash/external payments and OTA sales also changes the comparison. Work out who pays each charge and compare the final guest price as well as your payout.

## Booking workflows to compare

TRYTN’s published booking features include price tiers and deposit-only pricing. Bring a real product to each demo and test departure times, participant types, capacity, payments, amendments and refunds. Check any resource constraints and how reseller availability is updated.

TicketingHub combines website bookings, in-person sales and supported reseller connections. Check the specific channels and product types you need rather than assuming every marketplace connection behaves the same way.

## Guest changes and digital waivers

TicketingHub’s Magic Link allows eligible guest changes according to the options and policies configured for the product. Test cancellation rules, deadlines and voucher options before enabling self-service.

Digital waivers are available through Smartwaiver, a separate integration. Confirm the subscription, participant-signing process and how staff check waiver completion before arrival.

## Migration without losing track of bookings

Plan the transfer of products, future reservations, customer records, vouchers and reseller connections before switching. Confirm export access, supported imports, responsibilities and timing with both providers. Payment details, past transactions and third-party connections may need separate handling.

Test checkout, confirmations, availability and an amendment on a sample product. Agree a cutover plan that avoids duplicate sales. Setup time depends on the operation; it is not a promise that every business can migrate in minutes.

## Which platform fits your operation?

TRYTN may suit an operator whose sales mix benefits from its channel-specific fees or who wants its optional website services. TicketingHub may suit a team looking to manage direct bookings, in-person sales and supported distribution together. Compare your essential workflows and total costs before deciding.

## Questions about switching from TRYTN

### Is TicketingHub always cheaper than TRYTN?

No. The result depends on your website, back-end card, cash and OTA sales, plus processing charges and optional services. Use the same monthly booking values and fee assumptions for both quotes.

### Can I keep my existing website?

TicketingHub’s booking widget can be embedded in an existing website. Check your site builder, checkout layout, tracking and any requirements from your current website agreement.

### What should I bring to a demo?

Bring your monthly sales split, a typical product, cancellation policy, reseller list and future-booking export requirements. These make a practical comparison possible.
