What do you want for your tours?
Sustainability? Happy customers? Effortless marketing?
Or let's sum it all up together, SUCCESS?
We've all been there, juggling everything in between digital marketing. "Do this," and the other says, "Do that." And we hear another headline saying, "This works!".
But whenever we try, we end up saying, "why doesn't it work out for me?"
In the end, you were spending hundreds to thousands of dollars in marketing to no real avail.
If so, meet Steve. Steve is a tour operator selling __ tours in the United States. And maybe, just like most of you, Steve is also a family man.
When not selling tours, you can find Steve at the park with his family of four- his wife and his two energetic boys- running through the greens and playing balls.
Steve, just like you, wants his customers to be happy and build a sustainable business. I guess every tour operator or business entrepreneur does. Like, who doesn't?
After months of experimentation, reading online reviews, and losing xx thousand dollars in marketing, Steve finally hit the "sweet spot" of effortless marketing. In a matter of xx months, Steve reached an all-time peak of xx dollars for a consecutive three month-revenue!
Steve never thought this would be so easy!
After finding himself between the lines of digital marketing strategy doing this and that, and also 'the one that works, he finally hit 'the one with results!'.
Now, Steve is still running tours and playing balls with his kids. But what did Steve not lose out on doing?
You should do the same!
But first, let's dive in on Steve's problem, which is probably the problem you're also facing but don't know yet. A problem that most tour operators and entrepreneurs are facing.
Why is it not working?
Do you know that only 2% of web traffic does convert leads in the first visit?
That means losing 98% of your website visitors every single day. That's a lot of money.
Think of all your marketing efforts. You reach out to prospective customers and previous customers through social media. Adding up, you leveraged your email marketing strategy. What else have you tried?

For most, juggling different platforms and trying every marketing strategy is their way of getting on the path of a successful business.
But for now, try to focus on THIS strategy. What if I tell you that you can save at least 20% of the 98% of website visitors you're losing? What if you can sell 20% more than your usual revenue? And what if you can save up to xx hours of your time in all your marketing efforts and turn them into marketing automation?
Consider this.
An average tour operator in the United States earns more than $3,000 monthly.
Suppose, for every $1,000 you make in a month, you gain 20% more, which is $200. In a year, that's an addition of $2,400.
If earning $3,000 or more, 20% is $600; that's a total of $7,200 of sales in a year.
So think: how much are you making in a month? How much more can you earn with a 20% increase?
Stop leaving money on the table by losing out on at least 20% of sales.
This is what Steve did. He did THIS that enabled him to earn an all-time peak of xx dollars in a 3-month row straight since the proper execution.
So what did Steve do?

Demo turned into Strategy
We had a call with Steve.
Steve bumped into one of our website pages, hit the 'Book a Demo' button, and met Carl.
Steve and Carl were talking.
Business. Tours. Sales. Software and the kinds of stuff.
Steve told Carl about the problem of not-working-digital-marketing-efforts he has been juggling for his tours.
Well, of course, TicketingHub is not a marketing agency nor a marketing expert, but we love our customers. And we love sharing strategies that work!
Like how we hit an all-time 5-star Capterra review all since 2017; and how we leveraged growth hacking in less than six months in 2022.
So Carl told Steve about this exciting retargeting and remarketing Strategy. And TicketingHub's remarketing tool for tour operators.
Steve tried.
Retargeting? Remarketing?

You might have already heard about retargeting and remarketing strategies. A lot, perhaps. But does it work?
What is retargeting, by the way?
Retargeting is a digital marketing strategy that can help you keep your brand in front of bounced traffic after they leave your website. Retargeting aims to reach 98% of users who don't convert immediately.
Remarketing is a broader term that includes retargeting. Retargeting refers to the targeting of ads based on cookies. Remarketing refers to targeting ads based on past interactions with your brand using your existing customer data. Remarketing works by reaching out to existing customers through contact details, such as emails on your newsletter list, past and current customers, app usage data, etc.

Research shows that "Travel companies spent $2.31 billion on digital, print, and television advertising through October 2021 ... more than $1 billion across digital platforms, $659 million in print mediums and $583 million on TV."- Here's How Much Travel Companies Spent on Advertising in 2021
And you're one of them. We are one of them. As a whole, the travel industry spends millions to billions of dollars in digital marketing alone.
So what's the deal?
Make it count.
As said, makeup 98% of lost sales by reviving at least 20%. When done right, who knows, you can generate more than 20% leads.
So how can you start?
How?

Here's how.
Check-in with your Google Analytics. Or whatever search console you use to track your website visitors per month.
See the MUV unit, which stands for Monthly Unique Visitors.
When you do, see how many site visitors you have in a month (MUV) and compare it with the rate of how much you generate leads into conversions.
Then do your math; what if you can make up at least 20% of these lost sales (the number of site visitors that did not turn into customers) and turn them into new customers?
Also, check in with your customer database. How much percentage is coming back? Do you have data on these past customers? Can you reach out to them again?
See? There are many doors open in marketing with potential customers who already know you. Your prospective customers are the ones who already know you, have heard of you, have seen your advertising efforts, and follow your social media pages. Make each one count!
Work It Right
Some strategies work, and some do not.
So how did Steve win an all-time peak in sales for a 3-month row? Steve retargeted customers and did TicketingHub.
TicketingHub helps tour operators double their ROI by providing a seamless booking experience from offline, online, and multiple sales channels. Powered by automation and next-generation technology, TicketingHub's online booking system empowers over 200+ clients worldwide— from events, tours, classes, and attractions— to manage, optimize, and sell more in less time.
Finally!
After juggling marketing strategies, Steve finally found the door to increase sales. Ironically, out of the tourism's broad audience, his potential customers were only his past customers, site visitors, and social media followers. Steve found out that the best market is the one you already have.
Like Steve, we all have been there.
But remember, there's no failing strategy, there will be times when we fall, but there's no time that we fail. We fall, we get back up, so we try again. We only fail when we quit.
How about you? Have you tried retargeting customers? If not, then you're missing out. TicketingHub makes it easy for you to remarket to your customers with the Abandoned Cart Drip Campaign tool.
