Comparing a Brushfire alternative for your attraction or events? Match the pricing category and operational requirements to your business before calculating costs.

Brushfire serves attractions as well as events

Brushfire’s current pricing page includes an Attractions category with season passes, group ticketing and a mobile box office app. It also has education, church and other event offerings. A comparison should not assume it supports only one-off registrations.

Use the appropriate Brushfire pricing category

The current pricing page lists Attractions at $0.75 per ticket plus card fees and Other Events at $1.50 plus 1% per ticket plus card fees. Church pricing has separate options. Its older billing guide describes a different standard fee and free-attendee charge, so confirm the category, free-ticket treatment and written terms applicable to your account.

TicketingHub’s published pricing

TicketingHub lists 3% per successful online, OTA or card-paid in-person booking, with cash sales free and no monthly or setup fee. You can absorb the booking fee or pass it to guests. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate. Confirm additional services and contractual terms in your proposal.

A qualified attraction example

For 500 paid attraction tickets at $20 each, a $0.75 per-ticket fee is $375. TicketingHub’s 3% on the same $10,000 of qualifying booking value is $300. The $75 software-fee difference excludes processing, taxes, discounts, extras and custom terms on both sides. Higher ticket prices or a different Brushfire category can change the result.

Front-desk and group operations

Brushfire lists a mobile box office and payment options. Demonstrate party reservations, season passes, seating and check-in if you use them. Confirm the devices and integrations required on both platforms instead of treating on-site selling as unavailable.

Test a complete reservation

Demonstrate your products, ticket categories, shared capacity, mobile checkout, confirmations and staff access. Confirm each marketplace connection, product mapping, cancellation process and report you need. Check specialist requirements directly rather than assuming a missing feature from a short overview.

TicketingHub changes and waivers

Magic Link offers eligible self-service changes according to product settings and deadlines. Digital waivers can use the separate Smartwaiver integration; confirm its subscription, signing journey and staff checks. Test your own participant requirements and cancellation policy.

Plan migration before switching

Agree scope, costs and timing. Confirm which products, future reservations, customer records and vouchers can be imported from available exports. Reconcile capacity and existing orders, test payment and refund arrangements, and train staff before the cutover.

Compare complete proposals

Use your actual sales mix to compare software charges, processing, marketplace commissions, optional services, hardware and implementation. Confirm onboarding, support and contract terms before committing.
