Experience types and departure places

Explain the experience format, duration, meeting point and inclusions before checkout. Distinguish diver, observer and private-group options where applicable. Set availability around the places you intend to sell and test shared capacity across products.

Participant requirements before booking

Publish the qualifications, experience, age and other participation requirements specified by your operation. Collect necessary details for each guest and confirm staff review. A booking form does not validate diving qualifications or replace suitability checks and operational approval.

Vessel, crew and equipment requirements

Ticket places are different from boat allocation, crew availability, equipment quantities and turnaround time. Demonstrate shared-resource constraints. Maintenance, equipment checks and departure-readiness decisions require their own processes or specialist tools.

Digital waivers and arrival instructions

Digital waivers are available through the separate Smartwaiver integration. Confirm subscription costs, group signing and how staff identify outstanding forms. Use confirmations and reminders for arrival times, meeting points, preparation guidance and contact details. Waivers do not replace safety procedures.

Weather changes and cancelled departures

Explain who decides whether a trip runs, when guests are contacted and what rescheduling or refund options apply. Booking software does not assess sea conditions or decide whether a dive can proceed. Test handling every reservation affected by a cancelled departure.

Guest amendments and distribution

TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible changes within configured product options and deadlines. Decide which participant or group changes need staff approval. Check reseller eligibility, commissions and availability mapping for each product; distribution does not guarantee growth.

Questions about shark diving booking software

Can observers and divers book different options? Demonstrate the pricing and shared allocation. Does booking validate diving qualifications? Keep that verification with your operation. Does it allocate all equipment? Test the exact resource requirements.

Preparing to switch bookings

Agree future-reservation import fields and a cutover plan. Test checkout, participant details, waiver handling, confirmations and an amendment before opening availability.

Clear booking costs

TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
