Best Web Ticket Manager Alternative: TicketingHub

WebTicketManager entered administration in Nov 2025. Move to a live platform: 3% per booking, no setup or monthly fee, OTA sync, 24/7 support.

WebTicketManager entered administration in November 2025. Move your ticketing to a platform that's live and growing — 3% per online booking, no monthly fee, free migration.

Don't build your ticket sales on a company in administration

If you sell tickets for an attraction, event, or tour and you're comparing WebTicketManager, know this first: as of late 2025, the company behind it is in administration. Whether you're an existing customer weighing options or a prospective one doing due diligence, that changes the conversation — your booking platform is how you take money from customers, and its stability is worth more than any feature.

TicketingHub is active and growing: a booking platform built for operators — tour companies, attractions, museums, adventure parks, boat trips — founded in London, serving operators worldwide, rated 5.0 on Capterra. Pricing is published for everyone: no setup fee, no monthly fee, 3% per online booking. You only pay when you earn, and migration help is free.

What is Web Ticket Manager?

WebTicketManager Limited (company number 08057750) is a UK ticketing company incorporated in May 2012, formerly based at Sci-Tech Daresbury in Cheshire. Third-party listings describe an online ticketing platform for events, venues, and attractions, built around a 'Box Office Network' of promoters and resellers, plus online, mobile, kiosk, and onsite ticketing, reserved seating, barcode scanning, POS and card processing, and email marketing tools.

We couldn't verify these features on WebTicketManager's own site: its domain returned a certificate error pointing to an unrelated company, consistent with a site that has gone dark. This description leans on Capterra listings, not vendor pages.

UK Companies House filings confirm administrators were appointed on 17 November 2025 (case CR-2025-001102, Business and Property Courts in Leeds), with a statement of proposals filed on 12 January 2026. Both directors on file had already been terminated in June 2024. Administration doesn't necessarily mean an immediate shutdown, but it's a material fact for anyone signing a new contract or relying on long-term support.

Pricing: a number you can plan a season around

WebTicketManager never published a fixed commission rate. Capterra describes it as free to start, 'payment based on transactions only,' but the actual percentage isn't disclosed anywhere we found. You'd have needed to ask a sales rep for your real cost per sale - and given the administration, it's unclear that process still exists.

TicketingHub publishes its whole model: 3% per online booking, no monthly fee, no setup fee. Integration fees for payment providers and OTA channels are the only extras, clear before you commit. On £10,000 of monthly online bookings, that's £300 a month — a number you can plan a season around, that shrinks on its own in a quiet month. We can't run that calculation for WebTicketManager; its rate was never published.

Why operators switch to TicketingHub

Forecast your costs before you sign, not after

A published 3% per online booking means you know next season's software cost today. No hidden per-ticket fee to negotiate, no monthly minimum, no setup cost — and because there's nothing fixed, the bill can never outrun the bookings.

Reach the whole world's buyers, not just a local network

WebTicketManager's Box Office Network connects you to its own promoters and resellers. TicketingHub's OTA channel manager syncs your live availability with Viator, GetYourGuide, and other global marketplaces in real time, so international visitors find you where they already book — and quiet slots get filled by demand you didn't have to generate. Operators' OTA sales through TicketingHub grew 401% between 2022 and 2025.

Partner with a platform that's investing, not winding down

Choosing a booking platform is choosing a long-term partner for how you take money from customers. TicketingHub is an operating, growing business; WebTicketManager entered administration in November 2025. That's worth weighing as heavily as any feature list — nobody wants to migrate twice.

Get your evenings back, with a human on call

Magic Link lets customers reschedule, cancel, or convert bookings to vouchers themselves — you keep the sale as a new date or a voucher instead of a refund, without a support ticket. An email validator catches bad addresses at checkout so confirmations arrive, and abandoned-cart emails win back bookings that would otherwise be lost. For everything else, support runs 24/7 via chat and email, with free help migrating your data when you switch.

What reviewers say about Web Ticket Manager

WebTicketManager holds a 5.0/5 rating on Capterra, but from only two reviews - too few to call a trend. Both reviewers liked the quick, free setup with payment only on results, a booking system that didn't double-book, and the Box Office Network for distribution. Both also flagged the CRM admin screens as clunky and hard to learn, a dated interface in places, and no PayPal support.

Who is Web Ticket Manager right for?

  • Historically, small UK events and attractions wanting a free-to-start, pay-on-results ticketing tool with reserved seating.
  • Operators who wanted distribution through a local network of promoters and resellers rather than global OTAs.
  • Given the November 2025 administration, anyone considering it now should first confirm directly with the company (or its administrators) whether it is still taking on new customers and what continuity of support looks like.

Who is TicketingHub right for?

  • ✅ You want costs you can forecast: 3% per online booking, no monthly fee, no setup fee.
  • ✅ You want to sell on Viator, GetYourGuide, and other OTAs from one calendar, synced in real time.
  • ✅ You want customers self-serving reschedules, cancellations, and vouchers through Magic Link instead of emailing you.
  • ✅ You take walk-up sales and need POS that works offline, with printers, cash registers, and PDQ machines.
  • ✅ You want a branded, multi-language, multi-currency booking widget live on your website in one line of code.
  • ✅ You want 24/7 support and a migration team, not a vendor whose own future is uncertain.

Proof it works

"TicketingHub is a fantastic booking management system. The abandoned cart emails have noticeably reduced the number of people that don't book." - Shannon R., small business owner, Capterra

City Tours Belfast grew ticket sales 400% after switching from Checkfront to TicketingHub. Egypt's Sound and Light Shows grew ticket sales over 500% after switching. And Sam R., a director, has used TicketingHub since 2014 "for events ranging from walking tours to large international conferences" — the longevity a platform choice is supposed to buy you.

FAQs about switching from Web Ticket Manager

Is it safe to migrate away from Web Ticket Manager?

Given the November 2025 administration, moving to an actively operating platform is the lower-risk choice — and the sooner you move, the less you depend on a wind-down process you don't control. TicketingHub's team helps migrate your products, pricing, and historic data at no extra cost.

How does the cost compare?

TicketingHub publishes its rate: 3% per online booking, no monthly or setup fee — a cost you can verify yourself before signing anything. WebTicketManager never published its rate, so a direct comparison isn't possible without contacting the company - assuming that's still an option.

Can I try TicketingHub before fully switching?

Yes — it costs nothing to find out. There's no setup fee: get your first product live in minutes and run it alongside your existing system while you evaluate.

Move before the decision is made for you

Every week on a platform in administration is a week of risk to your revenue and your customer data. TicketingHub has no setup fee, the team migrates you for free, and your first product can be live in minutes. Switch on your own schedule — while it's still your choice to make.
