Lighthouse admission and guided visits
Help visitors choose a visit, reserve an available time and pay on your website. TicketingHub supports online reservations and in-person ticket sales for bookable lighthouse tours and experiences.

Timed visits and ticket validity
Explain whether each ticket covers grounds, a guided climb, interior access or a special event. Show dates, entry times, duration and inclusions before checkout. Make separately charged areas or experiences clear.
Visitor places and shared capacity
Set availability around the visitor allocations you intend to sell. Test shared capacity when admission and guided tours draw from the same limit. Ticket availability does not automatically measure occupancy on stairs, landings or viewing areas.
Access information before booking
Publish accurate information about steps, narrow spaces, height restrictions and accessibility as specified by your site. Explain arrival times, meeting points and any participation requirements before purchase. A reservation does not replace the site's entry and safety procedures.
Groups and educational visits
Clarify group sizes, accompanying adults, guiding arrangements and whether visits need staff approval. Test purchase orders, deposits, invoices and payment deadlines against your actual school or private-group process.
Weather changes and site closures
Explain who decides whether a visit can run, how guests are contacted and what rescheduling or refund options apply. Booking software does not assess weather or site conditions. Test cancelling a visit and handling its affected reservations.
Messages and visitor amendments
Use confirmations and reminders for the entrance, arrival time, ticket conditions and contact details. TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible changes within configured product options and deadlines. Decide which requests require staff approval.
Entrance sales and distribution
Test finding a reservation, checking ticket validity and selling walk-in admission where suitable. Confirm hardware and connectivity requirements. Check reseller eligibility, commissions and availability mapping for the products you distribute.
Ticketing and lighthouse operations
Building maintenance, conservation records, navigation equipment and physical access control are separate requirements. A visitor-booking dashboard does not replace specialist lighthouse or site-management systems.
Questions about lighthouse ticketing
Can guided climbs and admission share capacity? Demonstrate your allocation rules. Can schools book online? Test group limits and approval requirements. Does a ticket guarantee access in all weather? Publish the operating and cancellation policy clearly.
Preparing to launch
Agree future-booking import requirements. Test checkout, access information, staff ticket checks and an amendment before opening sales.
Clear booking costs
TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
