What is a Facebook Pixel?
The Facebook Pixel is an analytics tool that allows us to track the effectiveness and conversions (even if someone doesn't purchase anything) of your advertising by understanding the actions people take on our website.
It's very similar to Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics but focused on Facebook ads and can also be used for lead generation or e-commerce purposes! It's an analytics tool that has many uses-- find out how you can benefit from using one today!
How does this work?
If you use TicketingHub as an online ticket retailer, we allow you to connect your Facebook pixel so it can track conversions from our site and create a lead or customer profile in Facebook Ads Manager that's tied to their actions on TicketingHub.com.
If someone decides to click on a Facebook ad that leads them to TicketingHub.com, we'll know in Facebook Ads Manager if they purchased tickets or not and how many times they visited our website before doing so.
You can also create different ads targeting people on Facebook based on what actions they take on your site! This is called retargeting.
You can retarget people who visit your website but don't convert on a lead or customer profile. Facebook offers this as an option to advertisers with conversion tracking pixels and those who have already created custom audience lists for retargeting ads. You can also target people who visited specific pages of your site by adding these URLs to the list in Facebook Ads Manager.
We provide an option to pass on all transaction fees directly to the customer.
