Looking for an alternative to BookingHound? Confirm which product and agreement you use within Beyonk Group, then compare your current requirements and terms with a TicketingHub proposal.

BookingHound is part of Beyonk Group

Beyonk announced its acquisition of Goliath Reservation Systems, trading as BookingHound, in May 2022. Its current company information continues to describe BookingHound within the group. Acquisition alone does not establish that every BookingHound customer has moved to the same product or pricing contract.

What Beyonk’s pricing page lists

Beyonk advertises a volume-based 4% ticketing rate, which can be passed to guests or absorbed. It describes the offering as intended for businesses with over £25,000 annual sales. UK prices exclude VAT and online payments incur separate Stripe processing. Marketing software and services have additional pricing; confirm eligibility and the terms applicable to your BookingHound agreement.

TicketingHub’s published pricing

TicketingHub lists 3% per successful online, OTA or card-paid in-person booking, with cash sales free and no monthly or setup fee. You can absorb the booking fee or pass it to guests. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate. Confirm additional services and contract terms in your proposal.

A qualified 4% versus 3% example

On an identical £10,000 of qualifying booking value, 4% is £400 and 3% is £300. The £100 difference excludes processing, VAT, marketplace commissions and optional services. It does not establish a saving against your existing BookingHound contract; compare your actual rate, fee base and sales channels.

Self-service, waivers and on-site operations

Beyonk’s pricing page explicitly lists ePOS, customer self-service and digital waivers. Ask to see how these work in the product you use. Confirm current distribution connections, devices, resource allocation and reports directly instead of treating older reviews as a definitive feature list.

Test the booking workflows you need

Demonstrate ticket types, shared capacity, mobile checkout, confirmations and staff access with your own products. Check distribution connections, ticket checks, reporting and payment devices directly. An omitted feature on a short pricing page does not establish that it is unavailable.

TicketingHub changes and digital waivers

Magic Link offers eligible self-service changes according to product settings and deadlines. Digital waivers can use the separate Smartwaiver integration; confirm its subscription, signing process and staff checks. Test your cancellation policy and participant requirements before choosing the setup.

Plan a controlled migration

Agree the scope, cost and timeline before switching. Confirm which products, future bookings, customer details and vouchers can be imported from available exports. Reconcile capacity and existing orders, test payment and refund arrangements, and train staff before the cutover.

Choose using complete proposals

Compare software charges, payment processing, marketplace commissions, tax treatment and optional services using your actual sales mix. Ask both suppliers to demonstrate critical requirements and provide written terms before committing.
