Heritage site admission and visitor reservations

Help visitors choose admission, reserve an available visit and pay on your website. TicketingHub supports online reservations and in-person ticket sales for bookable heritage-site experiences.

online booking widget features

Ticket validity and timed visits

Explain whether admission includes grounds, interiors, guided access or a special exhibition. Show dates, entry times, duration and inclusions before checkout. Make separately reserved experiences clear.

Admission and guided-tour allocations

A site-admission ticket and a place on a guided departure can have different availability rules. Test shared capacity where products use the same allocation. Ticket availability does not automatically measure occupancy across the property.

Schools and educational groups

Clarify pupil numbers, accompanying adults, learning sessions and accessibility needs. Decide which visits book instantly and which require staff approval. Test purchase orders, deposits, invoices and payment deadlines against your actual process.

Visitor access and arrival instructions

Use confirmations and reminders for entrances, meeting points, arrival times and contact details. Publish accurate information about stairs, uneven surfaces and restricted areas. A reservation does not replace the site's access or visitor procedures.

Guest amendments and site closures

TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible changes within configured product options and deadlines. Decide which group or visit changes need approval. Publish closure and cancellation rules and test notifications, rescheduling and refunds.

Entrance sales and reseller connections

Test finding a reservation, checking validity and selling walk-in admission where suitable. Confirm hardware, connectivity and any separate gate integration. Check reseller eligibility, commissions and availability mapping for each product.

Ticketing and heritage operations

Conservation records, collection catalogues, building maintenance, retail stock and donor administration are separate requirements. Membership renewals and entitlement validation need their actual workflows demonstrated. Do not assume admission ticketing replaces specialist heritage-management systems.

Questions about heritage site ticketing

Can schools pay by invoice? Confirm the approval and payment workflow. Can admission and guided visits share an allocation? Demonstrate the required rules. Does a ticket include every area? State permitted access explicitly.

Preparing to switch visitor bookings

Agree supported import fields and a cutover plan for future visits. Test checkout, visitor messages, staff sales, ticket validity and an amendment before opening availability.

Clear booking costs

TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
