Day trip departures and guest reservations

Give guests a clear way to choose a day trip, reserve available places and pay on your website. TicketingHub supports bookings for suitable scheduled excursions and private experiences.

Make it effortless for website visitors to use our online booking system for day trips.

Itinerary and ticket inclusions

Describe the route, duration, departure time and expected return arrangements. Explain whether transport, attraction entry, meals and optional activities are included or paid separately. Keep the published itinerary consistent with the ticket purchased.

Pickup points and passenger details

Make the exact pickup location, arrival time and contact details clear before checkout and in confirmations. Test the information required for each passenger and how staff handle several pickup options. A single departure calendar does not establish support for every multi-stop allocation.

Capacity and supplier arrangements

Participant places are different from vehicle assignment, guide availability and attraction-entry allocations. Demonstrate shared-resource constraints. A day-trip reservation does not automatically secure every supplier or admission slot on the itinerary.

Groups and private excursions

Distinguish individual ticket prices from private-group pricing. Clarify group limits, participant categories and accessibility information. Test quotes, deposits, invoices and payment deadlines where staff approval is needed.

Guest messages and itinerary changes

Use confirmations and reminders for pickup details, ticket inclusions, arrival times and contact information. Explain how guests hear about route or supplier changes. Keep instructions consistent across website and reseller listings.

Booking amendments and cancelled departures

TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible changes within configured product options and deadlines. Group, pickup or supplier-related amendments may require staff approval. Publish cancellation policies and test notifications, rescheduling and refunds.

Distribution and reporting

Confirm reseller product eligibility, commissions, cutoffs and availability mapping. Use booking reports to understand departure demand. Distribution does not guarantee growth, and ticket counts do not replace transport or physical attendance records.

Questions about day trip booking software

Does one reservation include attraction admission? Only where explicitly included and arranged with suppliers. Can guests choose different pickups? Demonstrate the required stop structure. Does it manage the vehicle fleet? Assess specialist operational systems separately.

Preparing to switch bookings

Agree future-reservation import requirements and a cutover plan. Test checkout, pickup selection, ticket inclusions, confirmations and an amendment before opening sales.

Clear booking costs

TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
