Bus departure reservations and passenger tickets
Give passengers a clear way to choose a departure, reserve available places and pay on your website. TicketingHub supports bookings and ticket sales for suitable bus and transport experiences.

Routes, departures and boarding points
Show the departure date, time, pickup point, destination and ticket validity before checkout. Explain whether a ticket covers a single journey, return trip or another service. Bring your stop structure to a demo: transfers, through-ticketing and multi-stop fares need specific checks.
Passenger capacity and seat allocation
Set availability around the passenger places you intend to sell. Test adult, child and group bookings, including how amendments affect availability. A capacity limit is different from an assigned seat map or vehicle allocation; demonstrate reserved seating, luggage and shared-vehicle requirements separately.
Boarding information and staff sales
Use confirmations and reminders for the exact boarding point, arrival time, ticket conditions and contact details. Test finding a booking, checking validity and selling a walk-up ticket where suitable. Confirm hardware, connectivity and the boarding process before launch.
Guest changes and cancelled services
TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible changes within configured product options and deadlines. Decide which cancellations, reschedules or group amendments need staff approval. Publish the process for changed departures and test passenger notifications, rescheduling and refunds.
Ticketing alongside fleet operations
Vehicle maintenance, driver rotas, dispatch and live tracking require their own systems and processes. A ticketing dashboard does not replace fleet management. Multi-stop services and seat allocations need to be demonstrated using your actual transport model.
Questions about bus ticket booking software
Can passengers select individual seats? Do not assume it: test your required seat-selection flow and vehicle layout. Can several stops share capacity? Demonstrate the stop combinations, fares and shared-seat rules before deciding on a setup.
Preparing to switch reservations
Agree supported import fields and a cutover plan for future departures. Test passenger details, confirmations, boarding checks and an amendment before opening sales.
Clear booking costs
TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
