Climbing departures and participant reservations
Help guests choose a climbing experience, reserve available places and pay on your website. TicketingHub supports bookings for suitable guided departures, lessons and private experiences.

Experience levels and ticket inclusions
Describe the location, duration, intended experience level and what the price includes. Explain whether equipment, transport or entry charges are included. Distinguish a guided outdoor climb from a lesson or facility admission before guests purchase.
Participant requirements before checkout
Publish relevant age, experience, accessibility and other requirements specified by your operation. Collect the necessary details for each participant and confirm staff review. Booking answers do not replace suitability checks, instruction or operational approval.
Guide and equipment allocations
Set ticket availability around the places you intend to sell. Participant capacity is different from guide availability, equipment quantities and turnaround times. Demonstrate shared-resource constraints where several departures use the same team or kit.
Digital waivers and arrival messages
Digital waivers are available through the separate Smartwaiver integration. Confirm subscription costs, group signing and how staff identify outstanding forms. Use confirmations and reminders for meeting points, arrival times, clothing guidance and contact details. Waivers do not replace safety procedures.
Weather changes and cancellations
Explain who decides whether a trip runs, how guests are contacted and what rescheduling or refund options apply. Booking software does not assess route or weather conditions. Test cancelling a departure and handling every affected reservation.
Guest changes and reseller channels
TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible amendments within configured product options and deadlines. Decide which changes need staff approval. Check reseller product eligibility, commissions and availability mapping; distribution does not guarantee an 80% increase in bookings.
Booking tools and specialist operations
Equipment inspections, maintenance, guide qualifications and operating records require their own processes or tools. Do not assume a reservation dashboard provides a complete climbing operations system.
Questions about climbing tour bookings
Can private and shared climbs use the same resources? Demonstrate the required allocations. Does booking automatically reserve equipment sizes? Test that exact requirement. Can beginners select suitable sessions? Make eligibility clear and confirm your staff-review process.
Preparing to switch reservations
Agree future-booking import fields and a cutover plan. Test checkout, participant details, waiver handling, confirmations and an amendment before opening availability.
Clear booking costs
TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
