Sightseeing departures and guest reservations

Help guests choose a sightseeing experience, reserve an available departure and pay on your website. TicketingHub supports bookings for suitable walking, vehicle-based and private tour products.

Routes, dates and guiding languages

Describe the route, duration, start time and guiding language before checkout. Make the meeting point and ticket inclusions clear. Test shared-guide constraints when several products or language options use the same team.

Tour tickets and attraction admission

A place on a sightseeing tour does not automatically reserve entry to every attraction visited. Confirm supplier allocations, opening hours and separately timed admission. Tell guests which tickets, transport and optional activities are included or paid separately.

Group and private tours

Distinguish individual places from private-group pricing. Clarify group limits, participant categories and accessibility information. Test quotes, deposits, invoices and approval before confirmation where your sales process requires them.

Capacity and transport requirements

Participant availability is different from vehicle assignment, guide rotas and supplier capacity. Demonstrate shared-resource rules across departures. Do not assume a tour-booking dashboard replaces transport or staff-management systems.

Meeting points and visitor messages

Use confirmations and reminders for the exact meeting location, arrival time, how to recognise the guide and contact details. Explain late-arrival arrangements and keep instructions consistent across website and reseller listings.

Guest changes and itinerary amendments

TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible changes within configured product options and deadlines. Route, language or private-group changes may need staff approval. Publish cancellation rules and test guest notifications when a departure changes.

Distribution and reporting

Confirm supported reseller connections, product eligibility, commissions and availability mapping. Review bookings by product and departure to understand demand. Distribution does not guarantee growth, and ticket counts do not replace physical attendance records.

Questions about sightseeing tour software

Can we include several attractions? Confirm each supplier allocation and ticket inclusion. Can guests select a guiding language? Demonstrate the required product setup. Does a booking reserve transport? Test that specific requirement rather than assuming it.

Preparing to switch bookings

Agree future-reservation import fields and a cutover plan. Test checkout, inclusions, meeting instructions, confirmations and an amendment before opening availability.

TicketingHub booking costs

TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
