The public pricing page displays 2% plus $0.59 per ticket for Starter and Standard, excluding VAT and processing; Pro is custom-priced. It states that fees vary by location and currency. Confirm the selected market, payment processor, plan and any applicable taxes before using a rate comparison.
A same-currency service-fee example
At the displayed 2% plus $0.59 rate, 400 tickets at $25 produce $10,000 in base ticket value: $200 plus $236 equals $436 in service fees. TicketingHub’s 3% on the same fee-bearing value is $300 before separate charges. The $136 difference is an illustrative service-fee comparison, not guaranteed net savings.
Recurring schedules and timed entry
Universe’s timed-entry documentation explicitly supports stand-alone and recurring timeslots across multiple days, weeks or months. Its tools allow per-timeslot ticket quantities, prices and capacity changes. The earlier suggestion that Universe only handles one-off event dates was incorrect.
Guest date changes
Universe documents optional self-service date and time changes for regular and timed-entry events, subject to ticket type, price and available capacity. TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible changes within configured product options and deadlines. Test each platform against your cancellation, rescheduling and voucher policies.
On-site tools and distribution
Universe lists BoxOffice for iOS and Android to scan and sell at the door, and Ticketmaster distribution on Pro. TicketingHub supports in-person ticket sales and supported reseller connections. Confirm exact channels, hardware and product mapping rather than assuming feature equivalence or absence.
Digital waivers and specialist requirements
TicketingHub offers digital waivers through the separate Smartwaiver integration. Confirm its subscription, participant signing and staff checks. Ask both providers to demonstrate any essential waiver, seating, shared-resource or retail requirement; a public feature summary is not a complete specification.
Migration planning
List future bookings, products, customer fields, vouchers, payment history and channel connections. Agree export access, supported imports, responsibilities and timing. Test a sample purchase, confirmation and amendment before cutover. Migration time depends on your operation and data.

TicketingHub booking costs
TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate.
