Natural history museum tickets and visitor reservations
Give families, school groups and individual visitors a clear route from choosing admission to arriving at your museum. TicketingHub supports online reservations and in-person ticket sales for bookable visits and experiences.
General admission and special exhibitions

Explain which galleries or exhibitions each ticket includes, when it is valid and whether visitors need an arrival slot. Keep general admission and special-exhibition capacity rules clear when they share space or allocations.
Timed ticket availability helps organise arrivals. It does not automatically count people in each gallery or replace the building’s occupancy and access-control procedures.
School visits and learning sessions
Plan the booking information needed for school groups: pupil numbers, accompanying adults, arrival times, accessibility needs and any learning sessions. Clarify whether schools can book instantly or first need staff approval.
Test group pricing, purchase orders, invoices, deposits and payment deadlines against your actual process. Confirm how a workshop allocation interacts with museum admission.
Family tickets and free admission
Define ticket eligibility and inclusions so families can choose the correct option. Demonstrate how adult and child quantities count towards capacity and how staff handle a booking change.
For free-entry days or zero-price admission, test the reservation flow and confirm the applicable software charging arrangement. Free entry does not by itself establish that every service involved is free.
Memberships and museum systems
Membership renewals, entitlement validation, donations, collection records and retail stock can require additional systems or specific configuration. List those requirements separately from admission ticketing.
Ask for member discounts, repeat visits and exhibition access to be demonstrated with your actual rules. Do not assume general customer records provide a complete museum membership system.
Visitor messages and booking changes
Use confirmations and reminders to share entrance details, visit times, ticket conditions and accessibility information. TicketingHub’s Magic Link can allow eligible changes within the options and deadlines configured for each product.
Publish clear rules for missed arrival slots, group amendments and exhibition upgrades. Test what guests can do themselves and when staff approval is needed.
Online and front-desk sales
Combine advance website bookings with in-person ticket sales where suitable. Demonstrate finding a reservation, checking ticket validity and selling a walk-in ticket during a busy arrival period.
Confirm hardware, connectivity and any separate access-control requirements. Use ticket-sales reports to follow product demand; website analytics and Search Console serve different purposes from attendance reporting.
Clear booking costs
TicketingHub’s standard fee is 3% per successful booking across online, in-person and OTA sales, with no monthly or setup fee. Payment processing charges and marketplace commissions are separate. Confirm the full cost for your booking and payment model.
