What is TourRadar?
TourRadar is the world's largest online marketplace for multi-day organised tours — what it calls adventure booking. It brings together travellers and operators around life-enriching, multi-day itineraries: guided group departures, private trips and tailor-made journeys, hand-picked from well-known travel companies and boutique operators alike.
TourRadar's reach is built on search visibility. The company reports that generic searches are the first step in 85% of its reservations, that it ranks on the first page of Google for over 90% of destination-based search phrases, and that its site draws around one million visitors a month — an audience of travellers and travel agents actively comparing multi-day trips.
Why multi-day operators need marketplace distribution
Multi-day tours are researched harder and booked earlier than day tours. Buyers compare itineraries, dates, reviews and operators for weeks before committing, and much of that comparison now happens on marketplaces rather than on individual operator websites. If your departures are not visible where the comparison happens, you are not in the running — however good the itinerary. Reviews compound the effect: a listing that accumulates verified feedback becomes easier to book with every season, an asset your own site builds far more slowly.
The traditional obstacle was operational: keeping limited departure allocations accurate on yet another platform, by hand, with real deposits at stake. That is the problem the TicketingHub integration removes.
How the TicketingHub integration works
TicketingHub connects TourRadar through its channel manager:
Live departure availability — TourRadar sells from your real-time allocation, so a departure that fills — anywhere — closes on the marketplace immediately.
One dashboard — marketplace bookings arrive alongside direct and other channel sales, with guest details attached.
No re-keying — nothing is copied between systems by hand, so nothing is copied wrong.
Per-channel reporting — judge the marketplace on hard numbers: bookings, revenue, product mix.
Commission terms are agreed between you and TourRadar, as with any reseller relationship.
How operators use TourRadar
Filling guaranteed departures
Multi-day economics hinge on load per departure: a trip that runs with six guests instead of three changes the season's margin. Marketplace demand from long-haul planners is one of the most direct ways to lift passengers per departure, and live availability lets you sell confidently down to the last seats.
Reaching planners months ahead
TourRadar's audience researches early — often booking months out. For operators, that means earlier certainty about which departures will run, better staffing and purchasing decisions, and fewer last-minute scrambles.
Stepping up from day tours to multi-day products
Operators expanding from day tours into two- and three-day itineraries face a cold-start problem: their existing audience booked day trips. Listing the new multi-day products where multi-day buyers already shop shortcuts years of audience-building.
Getting connected
Contact your TicketingHub account manager or support to have the TourRadar channel enabled. The dashboard side follows the standard reseller pattern — add a wholesale rate, create a reseller profile, then build a channel holding the itineraries you want listed — and our team coordinates the connection through to a verified test booking, which should appear in your Orders view tagged with the reseller name.
Frequently asked questions
Is TourRadar suitable for day tours?
Its focus is multi-day organised tours. If your products are day tours and activities, other channels in our integrations directory will fit better; if you run both, list each product where its buyers actually shop — the channel manager happily runs any mix from one calendar.
How do I keep limited departure seats accurate?
You do not have to — that is the channel manager's job. TourRadar draws on the same live allocation as your other channels, and full departures close everywhere simultaneously.
Do travel agents book through TourRadar too?
Yes — the platform is used by travellers and by travel agents finding trips for clients, which broadens the audience your departures reach.
Can I offer private or tailor-made trips there?
The marketplace spans group departures, private trips and tailor-made journeys. What you list — and on what terms — is between you and TourRadar; from the TicketingHub side, each listed product simply sells from the availability you give its channel.
What happens when a booking changes or cancels?
Changes flow through the channel manager: cancelled seats return to your live allocation automatically. The applicable terms follow your agreement with the marketplace.
Can I list only selected itineraries?
Yes. A channel contains exactly the products you put in it, at the rates you assign, so you can pilot the marketplace with one or two departures before rolling out the full catalogue.
How is TourRadar different from a day-tour OTA?
Day-tour OTAs sell impulse and in-trip activities; TourRadar sells the trip itself — multi-day itineraries researched over weeks and booked well in advance. The buying cycle, the basket size and the questions travellers ask are all different, which is why serious multi-day operators treat it as its own channel rather than one more listing site.
