TripXOXO Integration
TicketingHub reservation system's channel manager integrates with TripXOXO, a leading online travel agency. The integration will allow the two companies to provide their customers with an easy booking experience.
Why connect TicketingHub with TripXOXO?
Most travel booking starts with a destination, not a product — travellers decide where they are going, then work out what to do there. TripXOXO is built around exactly that behaviour: type in a destination and it surfaces the activities, experiences, tickets, sightseeing tours, transport and food options available once you arrive. For a tour or activity operator, being listed there means being present at the moment a traveller asks the question you answer: what should I do in this city?
The integration with TicketingHub makes that presence effortless to operate. TripXOXO sells from your live availability through the channel manager, and its bookings flow into the same dashboard and manifests as every other sale you make. One calendar, one list of bookings, no re-keying.
What is TripXOXO?
TripXOXO is a digital platform where travellers book activities, experiences, attraction tickets and sightseeing tours — everything they need once they reach their destination. Its catalogue spans destinations worldwide, covering entertainment, travel, transport, attractions and tourist spots, and it has built a particularly strong following among travellers from India and the Gulf region.
That audience profile matters: these are fast-growing outbound travel markets, and they are hard for an individual operator in Europe, Asia or the Americas to reach with direct marketing. A marketplace listing does the reaching for you.
How the integration works
TicketingHub is a cloud-based booking and ticketing system: you sell through a widget on your own website, manage everything in a web dashboard, and distribute through connected channels. TripXOXO is one of those channels, listed among the OTAs TicketingHub supports. Concretely:
- TripXOXO sees your real-time availability, drawn from the same pool as your website widget and in-person sales.
- A TripXOXO booking appears in your TicketingHub dashboard and on your manifests the same way a direct booking does — your guides never need to know or care where it was made.
- Because every channel draws down one calendar, sold-out means sold-out everywhere at once.
- Reporting shows what TripXOXO contributes next to your other channels, so you can judge the partnership on real numbers.
Use cases for operators
Attractions and sightseeing in international gateway cities
If you run attractions, city tours or sightseeing products in destinations popular with Indian and Middle Eastern travellers — think London, Paris, Dubai, Singapore or Bangkok — TripXOXO puts you in front of that demand while it is still in the planning stage, often weeks before arrival.
Operators bundling transport and experiences
TripXOXO's destination pages cover more than tours: transport and practical services sit alongside experiences. Operators whose products combine transfer and activity — day trips, airport-to-attraction combos — fit naturally into how its customers shop.
Growing beyond a single domestic market
For operators whose direct bookings are mostly domestic, a TripXOXO listing is a low-effort way to test international demand. Because the channel manager handles availability and bookings automatically, the experiment costs you setup time only — not ongoing admin. If the channel performs, you scale it up; if it does not, you have lost nothing but an afternoon.
How to connect
TripXOXO connections use TicketingHub's standard OTA setup, run from your supplier dashboard:
- Add a wholesale rate to the products the channel will sell.
- Create TripXOXO as a reseller and assign the rate.
- Create a channel, add the permitted products, save the credentials and share the access token with the OTA.
- Verify with a test booking taken through to the passenger-details step — it should appear under Orders with the Pending filter, showing the reseller name.
TicketingHub support can run this with you; contact us or your account manager to enable the channel.
Frequently asked questions
Which travellers will TripXOXO bring me?
Predominantly leisure travellers researching a specific destination, with notable strength in outbound travel from India and the Gulf. If those markets matter to your destination, the channel is worth testing.
Does TripXOXO sell more than tours?
Yes — the platform covers activities, experiences, tickets, transport and other in-destination services. Your products appear within that wider destination offering, which is often how travellers discover them.
What does the integration cost?
Commission terms are agreed directly between you and TripXOXO. On the TicketingHub side, the channel manager is part of the platform — ask us about current terms for channel bookings during your demo.
Can I stop selling a product on TripXOXO without touching my website?
Yes. Remove the product from the TripXOXO channel and it disappears from that channel only; your website widget and other channels are unaffected.
How quickly do bookings appear in my dashboard?
Bookings sync in near real time — allow a couple of minutes at most. If a test booking has not appeared after that, check the channel is enabled and contact TicketingHub support.
Do I need any technical skills to run the channel?
No. Once the channel is connected, it runs itself: availability flows out, bookings flow in, and your team works from the dashboard exactly as before. The setup steps above are done through the dashboard interface, and TicketingHub support handles anything fiddly.
